Very nice initiative! There are other ways in which you can help to save local independent bookstores. I am a faculty member at Caltech and our wonderful academic bookstore was closed down three years ago by the administration, without consulting with faculty and students. We are still struggling to have it back! You can all help, by signing our online petition for reopening our bookstore and share it with other like-minded people. Many thanks for all who are willing to help!
